BRENDA SAYS: "I don't mean to take this article lightly-I indeed know it's a tragedy but for any of you that need a perfect factual illustration of "If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?" and how bad of an idea it is, this would be it:

Teen Killed After Jumping Off Bridge With Friends
(KUTV) CACHE COUNTY
A Utah teenager was discovered dead after he went missing in Northern Utah Friday night.

The 16-year-old boy was with some friends late Friday afternoon along the Bear River near the town of Trenton.

The Cache County Sheriff's Office said the boys jumped off a railroad bridge and into a nearby stream. Two made it. The other never surfaced.

Search and rescue crews found the teen's body just before 9 p.m. Friday night.

Officials have not released the teen's identity, but did say he was from Smithfield.

New Air Force Flag-Folding Script --I like this. It is the Air Force way of folding the flag (not the folding, but something to be read while others fold the flag) --it's kinda cool (and is mostly a bunch of facts about the flag, it has a lot of meaning).

The meaning of the folding of the American flag-Truth! & Fiction! So the "meaning" of the folds, when folding the American flag, MAY have meaning, but it is only meaning that has been given possibly by circulation... Oh, yeah, I was researching this for a Cub Scout meeting in July. --I'll still go through with reading the "meanings", but at least I know that it is more about tradition than actual "legal" meanings and purpose.

Flags of the World a very interesting website, there is a lot of history and lore about the US flag. Something to check out before July comes around. (Oh, and in celebration of Flag day--Happy June 14th!)
